Since 2017, the SEAL Awards have acknowledged companies, research and media that demonstrate a robust commitment to sustainability. In the “Sustainable Service” category, SLB stood out for its innovative Celsius Energy solutions, which offer decarbonized heating and cooling using geothermal energy.

Indeed, Celsius Energy’s geoenergy solution offers a highly viable option for building owners looking to comply with government regulations, enhance property values, undertake long-lasting upgrades in line with their buildings’ lifespans and make significant progress in their ESG commitments.

Cindy Demichel, Co-founder and CEO of Celsius Energy, remarked, “The SEAL Sustainable Service Award is a powerful validation of our team’s hard work and dedication to driving innovation in sustainability. It is also a validation of the important role of geoenergy in creating a cleaner, more sustainable future. Heating and cooling represent half of the building industry’s global carbon footprint. We are honored to be recognized for our efforts and excited to continue inspiring positive change.”

From its inception, Celsius Energy has been dedicated to popularizing geothermal energy as a local and sustainable resource for heating and cooling buildings. Four years on, Celsius Energy has completed over 100 projects in France, expanded internationally and emerged as a staunch advocate for the global development of the industry.

Celsius Energy has been devoted to promoting geoenergy to the public, local authorities, and private users, leading to the establishment of France Géoenergie collective, a cluster of the French Association of Geothermal Professionals. The company also hosted the announcement of the National Plan for the Development of Geothermal Energy in February 2023.
